Auditions for The Ashland Theatre’s Shadow Cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show are open to anyone 18+. 

A note from the director: This film contains mature audience elements and is rated R. It is good to have a knowledge of what you are getting yourself into before auditioning. With that in mind, it is always my top priority to make sure everyone is comfortable and that any stage intimacy is coordinated and proper boundaries between actors are in place and respected. Before casting I assume everyone is ok with the elements in the film, but I will still have a talk with the selected cast what your comfortability levels are once rehearsals begin. 

Please remember to just have fun and make strong choices in your audition while respecting others. 

- No preparation needed, although it helps to have a strong knowledge of the film ahead of time. 
- There will be a group warm-up/intro. 
- There will be a short dance combo everyone will learn together, and, to end the night, reading sides from the film.

On casting: 
We hope to have a cast list by Friday, September 4th at the latest. We will email everyone whether they got cast or not, so be sure to check emails.
